A MAN was impaled on a fence in Beckenham yesterday evening.
The victim, 33, got his leg caught as tried a shortcut on Croydon Road at around midnight.
The fire brigade and an ambulance, with a doctor and medical team, were called a few minutes after it happened.
The rescue operation took around half an hour.
He was treated and stabilised at the scene before being taken to King's College Hospital in Camberwell.
Fortunately the man's injuries were not life-threatening or life-changing.
