SHOPPERS were in pole position to take their skills up a gear when learndirect and the Marussia F1 Team raced into Gravesend.
It was held at Asda, in Thames Way, as part of the learndirect Pit Stop Tour in partnership with the formula one team.
The online learning provider was on hand to talk to people about how they can boost their job prospects by improving their maths, English and IT skills or starting an apprenticeship.
Shoppers also had the chance to get up close to the show car, take home free merchandise and enter competitions to win prizes.
Area head of learndirect operations, Malcolm Ming, said: "Hundreds of people have already got their qualifications in Gravesend through learndirect and bringing the Marussia F1 Team show car along will hopefully mean many more people talk to us about how they can learn new skills and improve their job prospects."
