Fire guts Swanscombe garage
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a blaze which gutted a Swanscombe garage last night.
Two engines attended the incident on Moore Road at 6.20pm and were able to put out the fire in about 15 minutes using a hosereel and ventilation fan.
It was thought to have been caused by an electrical fault in a pond pump filtration system.
