THREE drug lords were locked up today for a total of 19 years after they were caught with a £1m stash of cocaine.
The men ran a criminal drug-dealing network and were found with more than six kilogrammes of cocaine and around £2k cash at a property in Woolwich.
John Paul Emenneh, 37, of Uplands Close, Woolwich, was today sentenced to 10 years in prison at the Old Bailey after previously admitting conspiring to supply cocaine.
Paul Arinzechi, 42, of Ancona Road, Plumstead, was also jailed for six years.
The court heard how Arinzechi lunged at a drawer containing a large knife when police found him at the address with the hoard of drugs.
A third man was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to possession of cocaine with intent to supply.
Emenneh pleaded guilty to conspiring to supply cocaine on April 11. Arinzechi entered a guilty plea to the same charge on February 7.
Detective Constable Gavin Collins from the Met's Specialist Crime and Operations Central Task Force said:"Their prison sentences should go some way in reassuring the public we are dedicated to removing drugs and those supplying them from the streets of the capital, including targeting their financial assets."
