POLICE cadets are out and about spreading a crime prevention message across Bromley.
Every Wednesday for the remainder of the summer holidays the teenagers, aged from 14 to 17, are handing out home security packs and anti-burglary leaflets.
They are giving the packs to passing residents and shoppers as well as delivering them to homes.
Bromley police spokesman Sergeant Philip Spaul said: "The cadets love these types of events but more importantly members of the public really appreciate seeing them."
The cadets regularly assist with leaflet drops, crime prevention initiatives, and community events.
They have also taken part in stewarding at high profile events including the Olympics, the Royal Wedding, Remembrance Sunday, Trooping the Colour and the London Marathon.
