A CHILDREN'S charity is urging people to donate their unwanted clothing or household items to its Erith store.
Barnardo’s at Erith Riverside Shopping Centre also needs shoes, handbags, jewellery and accessories as well as books, toys, CDs and DVDs.
Electrical goods and foreign currency can also be donated to the store.
Centre manager Barry Owen said: "Too many children are still living in poverty, so it’s paramount that everyone contributes to help improve their standard of living.
"Local residents can still help children all over the UK by bringing in any used or unwanted items.
"Barnardo’s really needs as much as possible and something that might seem insignificant to us would make a huge difference to children’s lives."
All profits from the Barnardo’s store go directly towards the charity’s work with children, young people and their families across the UK.
