ANIMAL lovers are being invited to a behind-the-scenes tour of a Thamesmead veterinary charity.
Staff and volunteers at Thamesmead PDSA PetAid hospital, in Eynsham Drive, are throwing open the hospital doors for an open day.
It will take place on August 15 from 10am to 3pm to raise funds for the animal charity.
Visitors will have the chance to see the operating theatres, recovery kennels and an x-ray room.
PDSA hospital manager, Jo Komoroczy, said: "Our open day is a great chance for people to come and see the great work PDSA does.
"It’ll be a fun day for all the family with drawing competitions, a cake sale, refreshments and stalls.
"Everyone from budding vets, animal lovers and clients will have a really great day out."
