YOUNGSTERS in Erith have produced a colourful and lively performance outlining the history of the Olympic Games.
More than 80 primary school pupils starred in the 40 minute show, which was rehearsed and performed from scratch in just one day at Erith School on Friday (July 27).
Props, including torches and masks, were also home-made by the stars of the show, who were aged between nine and 10.
The event is part of a two-week workshop that brings together children from across the borough who will be studying at Erith School from September.
Project manager Alex Coulson said: “It’s been absolutely fantastic and the kids have worked really hard.
“It has without doubt aided their transition from primary school to secondary school.”
