AUTHENTIC Italian food will be served in Dartford High Street on Friday (July 27), as an Italian food market rolls into town.
The market – which is branded Italia in Piazza – will serve food between 9am and 5pm.
A selection of cheeses, oils, olives and soft nougat will be among the delicacies offered.
Leader of Dartford Council, Councillor Jeremy Kite said, “We’re proud of our markets and we hope this special Italian market will offer something a bit different, so pop down for a true taste of Italy.”
The first Sunday market in Dartford was held on Sunday (July 22) and is part of the town’s recent successful bid to become a Portas Pilot Town.
Markets are also held in the high street on Saturdays and Thursdays.
