VISITORS to Blackheath's Olympic live site are being asked to come and chat with a complete stranger over a free meal.
The Big Conversation will be taking place in a tent beside the big screen on August 8 at 7pm.
Guests sit with someone they have never met and are served a basic meal along with a ‘menu of conversation.’
The menu offers a choice of questions designed to help them open up and think about their life in new ways.
Host for the event will be philosopher and historian Theodore Zeldin.
Seats will be allocated on the day, so it’s best to arrive early.
Lewisham Council's Blackheath site is open from July 27 to August 12, featuring a big screen showing the Olympic action, a funfair, stalls and free entertainment.
It runs from 8.30am to 10.30pm each day. Visit lewisham.gov.uk to find out more.
