A beautiful pub garden has been transformed with a dramatic makeover in time for the Olympics.
The Guildford Arms in Greenwich, one of London’s oldest pubs, now features a stunning 450 square metre garden complete with white birches, tall grasses and sweet-smelling kitchen herbs.
High walls block the wind and trap the sunshine, allowing glimpses of picturesque Georgian and Victorian streets on either side.
A new outdoor bar serves locally brewed beers on draft and during the Games a daily barbecue will supplement the pub’s menu.
Areas of the garden and terrace at the Guildford Grove venue are now available for large group bookings and parties.
