A CAR has smashed through a shop window in Locksbottom.
It is though the driver pressed on the accelerator instead of the brake, by mistake, and went through the window of a gift store, Heaven, on Crofton Road, Orpington.
Alan Potter, 59, is a friend of the shop owner and called in to help clear up after the incident which happened this afternoon (July 23).
He said: "There's an awful lot of glass that we're trying to sort out so it's no longer dangerous.
"I don't think anyone was injured, just a bit shaken."
The police were also called to the scene.
