LITTLE shoppers enjoyed a sporting fun day and making Olympic torches at Erith Riverside Shopping Centre.
Families were able to design their own flags on Saturday (July 21) in preparation for the flame passing through the town the next day.
Youngsters were also transformed into sporting stars with free face painting.
There were plenty of independent craft stalls for the adults, selling everything from bags to bracelets and clothing to cupcakes.
Centre manager, Barry Owen, said: "The sporting fun day was a great success and it was fantastic to see so many families come down and get into the Olympic spirit.
"The fun day was the perfect addition to a great occasion and the arrival of the torch is something that everyone will remember for a long time".
