Murder investigation in Thamesmead
A MURDER investigation has been launched following the death of a 76-year-old woman in Thamesmead.
Police were called around 6.25pm yesterday to a house in New Acres Road where a woman had collapsed.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem examination is yet to be carried out and officers are tracing the woman’s next of kin.
She has not yet been formally identified.
