FIREFIGHTERS have rescued a cat which was become stuck in a window.
They helped the animal in Dunstonian Court, Petts Wood, in the early hours of Friday morning.
The black and white cat had crushed its paw in the window itself around 1.30am but is is now back with its owner.
The incident follows the launch earlier this month of I'm An Animal, Get Me Out of Here, a campaign run by the London Fire Brigade. They are encouraging people to contact the RSPA for animals in distress.
There have been 117 animal rescues in the borough since 2006.
