A DISUSED shop abandoned and empty for more than three years has hosted Orpington's first ever "pop-up" art gallery.
Emerging artists in the borough have taken over the old pram shop in Orpington High Street for a week to hold their exhibition Roads Not Taken.
Among the exhibits are a variety of traditional and modern art forms.
The town's MP Jo Johnson attended the opening night to lend his support.
The gallery runs until Friday.
One of the organisers, Jay Shaw-Baker, from Orpington, said: "Turning the empty shop into a lovely gallery space took a tremendous amount of work but it was well worth the effort."
Pop-up galleries are a recent phenomenon aimed at finding vacant spaces around London for new artists to show the public their work.
