A CHARITY which helps disabled people ride horses has been chosen to receive support from a supermarket for the next year.
Sainsbury's Greenwich offered customers a choice of charities and Charlton Park Riding for the Disabled Association was judged the favourite.
The charity, founded in 1974, helps disabled people by providing horse riding sessions, as well as grooming and caring for the animals.
Donations can now be made in store and the supermarket will raise funding support and awareness for the charity.
Store manager David Perks said: "Charlton Park Riding for the Disabled Association is such a worthy cause and we’re pleased and proud to be supporting it over the next 12 months."
