TRUST Thamesmead's Acorn Pre-school got into the Jubilee spirit early in Glimpsing Green on May 30.
Both the morning and afternoon children attended in their best attire.
"It included lots of red, white and blue and many princesses, princes and our very own guardsman," said Acorn's Pre-school Leader, Sara Peache. As well as dressing up, children and parents alike enjoyed a puppet show by pre-school staff called 'The Royal Bertie Story' about a little boy who had some awful habits but which the Queen corrected in her best voice.
The event also saw participants taking part in coin rubbing, flag making and icing biscuits, followed by lunch with dishes provided by parents and dancing to the very best of British music.
