SIDCUP town centre has been transformed by traders with red, white and blue in preparation for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
Deputy chairman of the Sidcup High Street Promotions Group, Mike Lowe, and children from Merton Court School launched the celebrations last week.
Every second lamp post in the town is draped with red, white and blue garlands and a Diamond Jubilee Plaque, whilst the other posts are decorated in the colours of the five Olympic rings.
Mr Lowe said: "It's good to see the community coming together for such a momentous event, and many Sidcup traders are making the area as bright and welcoming as possible for our shoppers to enjoy the experience."
Sponsors of the decorations include Merton Court School, Wrightway Finance, McDonalds, The New Community Church, The Rotary Club of Sidcup, Shobiz, Opass Billings, NSM (Sidcup), Nelson Guest, and the Sidcup High Street Promotions Group.
