PEOPLE are invited to watch a beacon lighting ceremony as part of the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations.
Old Bexley’s Churches Together will host the ceremony at Golden Acre Park, Bexley Village on June 4 at 10pm.
The Bishop of Rochester, James Langstaff will attend the ceremony together with the Mayor of Bexley, Councillor Alan Downing.
Deputy lieutenant of the council, Major David Hewer OBE TD DL will also attend with Bexley MPs.
Leader of the council, Cllr Teresa O'Neill said: "The beacon lighting is a wonderful way of joining the whole country together in celebration.
“I am delighted that together with our local church community we are able to be part of such a momentous nationwide ceremony."
