THE jury in the trial of a millionaire's daughter accused of taking part in last summer's riots has retired to consider its verdict.
It is alleged Laura Johnson, 20, of Sheepcote Lane, Orpington, acted as a chauffeur for looters during the riots.
Johnson was arrested at a retail park in Bugsby's Way, Charlton, after being found with stolen electrical items, alcohol and cigarettes in the back of her car on August 9 last year.
The former Newstead Wood and St Olave's pupil denies three counts of burglary and three alternative counts of handling stolen goods.
In the same case at Inner London Crown Court, a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, denies two charges of burglary and two alternative charges of handling stolen goods.
