AN 18-year-old has appeared in court charged with a string of offences during last summer's riots including assaulting a police officer and robbing a chicken shop.
Alexander Elliott-Joahill, of Baring Road, Lee, appeared at Inner London Crown Court on March 21.
He has been charged with violent disorder, burglary of Blackheath Antiques in Lewisham and the robbery of Favourite Fried Chicken.
Alongside those offences, he is accused of GBH and ABH on a police officer, as well as possession of an offensive weapon.
Elliott-Joahill has been remanded in custody for a plea hearing on May 16.
