SWIMMERS of all ages managed to complete 1,000 lengths of a pool in three hours to raise money for charity.
More than 50 people donned their swim-wear at Next Generation Club, Darenth Road, Dartford.
The sponsored swimathon was organised for the second time by Ellenor Hospice at Home, based in East Hill, Dartford, as part of national Children's Hospice Week, which ran from September 16 until September 23.
Swimmers, including grandparents, scouts, and cubs, either collected sponsors for each length they completed or asked for donations for their participation in the event.
More than £1,000 has been raised for the charity after the group managed 1,000 laps between them.
