POLICE and two ambulances attended Upper Wickham Lane, Welling, just after 2pm today after three people were injured on a bus.
The 96 bus, which is owned by East London Bus Group, was near the junction with Church Road when it braked sharply, causing three of the passengers to fall.
Two women aged 74 and 51 and a man aged 80 were treated at the scene for nearly an hour before being taken to hospital.
The incident follows an accident involving a 132 bus in Blackfen Road, Blackfen, at 11.30am on September 15.
As the 132 braked sharply Violet Stephens, 80, from Casterbridge Road, Blackheath, fell. She died in Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup, four days later from a broken neck.
