A CHARITY which helps disabled people to shop is £2,000 richer thanks to some of the UK's biggest shopping chains.
Shopmobility based in Bexleyheath town centre, provides wheelchairs and escorts for elderly and disabled people unable to go shopping for themselves.
And tenants in the Broadway Square have donated the money to help with the scheme's expansion hopes.
Currently, it is only able to operate two days a week.
However, it hopes to have a new office in the Mall and would like to be able to offer a daily service to enable disabled people to shop whenever they want.
