CLOTHES CALL: A tramp was moved on by police after he tried to sell a charity shop's second-hand clothes to passers-by at about 8.30am on Monday morning.
He had displayed the clothes on the wall near the Harris HospisCare shop, Crofton Road, Locksbottom. He was not charged.
CANDLE FIRE: Firefighters took 15 minutes to put out a fire caused by an unattended candle at a house in Swievelands Road, Biggin Hill, on Sunday evening. There are no reports of any injuries. The fire brigade wants to remind people to be careful when using candles.
FRIENDS' FUNDS: The Friends of the Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough, is looking for trustee volunteers. They are responsible for the raising and allocation of funds for projects. Call 01689 853449.
