it was rather hot and humid for the visit to Colchester but everybody enjoyed the sightseeing trip round this historic city.
Members were lucky with the weather for their coffee morning in the garden of member Jessie Arthur.
Unfortunately our luck ran out weatherwise when 25 members made the journey to Highgrove for a tour of the Prince of Wales garden.
However, rain did not dampen spirits - everyone found it very interesting.
This month's speaker Mrs Talboys gave a talk on Perennial Plants for Continuance Colour.
She showed slides divided by the type of plant and the seasons.
It was just as well she provided us with a list of names as it would have been impossible to remember all of them otherwise.
Irene Gramman proposed the vote of thanks.
