A PEOPLE'S panel has been set up in Barnehurst, with help from the neighbourhood policing team.
Its first meeting attracted 14 residents and one of the major items for concern was the problem of anti-social behaviour and under-age drinking by young people.
Sergeant Andy Kleywegt told residents efforts were under way to stop disorder in Russell and Martens Grove parks, Masons Close and Hall Place Gardens.
Using information gathered from the meeting, police will draw up an action plan to resolve complaints.
The panel will meet again in three months to check up on progress.
