A MAN who pleaded guilty to downloading child porn has been banned from working with children.
Richard Travell pleaded guilty to six charges of possession of indecent images of children at Croydon Crown Court on September 20.
Prosecutor Philip Jones said police raided the 47-year-old's home on October 18 last year and removed his computer.
Mr Jones said: "In an interview at the police station he refused to answer any questions and was released on bail.
"When the computer was examined, a total of 205 images were found.
"He returned to the police station on February 22 but again did not answer questions."
Travell had two previous convictions for smuggling indecent material and was jailed for six months in 1996.
Judge Simon Pratt made an order banning Travell from working with children for life and forbid him from having children in his home.
He must not stay at any address where children are present and allow police to check his computer.
Travell, of Kent House Road, Beckenham, was bailed ahead of sentencing on October 20.
Judge Pratt warned him: "Prison is very much on the cards."
