INVESTING: Entertainment company AEG Europe is to buy a major stake in Thames Clippers, which runs passenger services along the Thames. It will allow the operation to double the size of its fleet of fast catamarans from six vessels to 12. It is hoped the extra services will be in place for the 2012 Olympics.
GOOD HEALTH: A Men's Health Scrutiny Review was launch at Lewisham's Civic Suite, Catford, yesterday. The group aims to monitor and review men's health services and will give information to Lewisham Primary Care Trust to help develop services across the borough.
CAR FIRE: Firefighters from Forest Hill were called at 11.25pm on September 21 to douse flames of a burning car set alight in Dacres Road, Lower Sydenham. The cause is still being investigated. Anyone with information should call 020 7587 4531.
