ROADWORKS: Bob Dunn Way will be closed from 4am to 9.30am on September 30, October 1, October 7 and October 8. A diversion will guide traffic via Bob Dunn Way, Crossways Boulevard, Bean Road, Princes Road, Crayford Road, Roman Way, Crayford High Street and Perry Street.
BOOK LAUNCH: The Saheli Writers group launches its new book on Saturday at Gravesend Library, Windmill Street, Gravesend, between 1pm and 3pm. The group has spent two years getting accounts mainly from Gravesham's Indian community.
COPPER THIEVES: Thieves have stolen £2,500 of copper from the roof of the library in Coldharbour Road, Northfleet. If you saw anything suspicious in the past seven days, call 01474 565220.
