A BLACK cab driver is hoping to get in touch with a "Good Samaritan" who helped him home after he was taken ill.
Sid Freeman was at Prestige Hand Car Wash and Valeting in Sandy Lane, Sidcup, when he fell to the ground after severe stomach cramps.
The 67-year-old of Lydstep Road, Chislehurst, said: "I was kneeling beind my car when this chap came along and asked if he could help."
Mr Freeman asked the man to drive him home, promising his wife would drive the man back.
He said: "When we got home he helped my wife lift me into the house and laid me on the settee.
"When Patricia tried to drive him back he wouldn't hear of it. He said: You stay here and look after your husband'."
Now Mr Freeman wants to get in touch with the man to thank him for his help on September 8.
He said: "I think it was absolutely fabulous what he did. Talk about a Good Samaritan."
If you are or know the man who helped Mr Freeman, call Sara Nelson on 01689 885732.
