POLICE are appealing for witnesses after the theft of copper worth more than £2,500 from the roof of a library.
The thefts from Coldharbour Library took place between midnight on July 1 and 10.55am on September 22.
The offenders appeared to have stolen some of the copper from the roof and left other pieces rolled up.
It is estimated that more than £2,500 of copper has been stolen with a substantial amount of damage caused to the roof.
