Starring: Clive Owen, Julianne Moore, Michael Caine. Directed by Alfonso Cuaron. Rating: 5/5 - second must-see film this year, but still nothing can beat Snakes On A Plane. Review by Tim Porter.
Children Of Men is one of the most unique films made in recent years. Stuck in 2027 in a chaotic world in which humans can no longer procreate, a former activist (Clive Owen) agrees to help transport a miraculously pregnant woman to a sanctuary at sea, where her child's birth may help scientists save the future of humankind.
This film is a hit from the start, within the first five minutes you are introduced to a shocking time in the chaotic 2027 London.
Children Of Men is a chilling, disturbing and funny film that will please any film fan.
Oana Pellea is absolutely brilliant throughout this film and so is Michael Caine.
If the film does not get an Oscar I will be shocked.
The film is so real it's scary, the directing is top-class and should take a place in film history.
This is a must-see film, you will be shocked at how good this film is.
