A SPECIALIST college held a celebration to mark its 50th anniversary.
Eltham Green College, Middle Park Avenue, Eltham, held a reunion for its former pupils.
The school celebrated its many accomplishments during its 50 years including being the first school in the UK to have an intake of more than 2,500 pupils.
There were speeches from one of the school's first teachers and a guided tour of the school building.
A commemorative plaque was unveiled on September 16 as a tribute to the school for service to the borough.
Former teacher John Burley said: "After being at the school for its official opening, this reunion was a really nice trip down memory lane."
He added: "It was great to see some of my old pupils and re-live old memories together."
