A 27-YEAR-OLD man was taken to hospital after part of his ear was bitten off during a fight at a wake.
Police were called to the disturbance in the grounds of the Sundridge Park Hotel, Plaistow Lane, Bromley, at around 10.30pm on September 19.
Five people were arrested for affray and a further arrest was made for public order offences.
One of the six was taken to the Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough, after receiving injuries to his ear.
The piece of ear was subsequently discovered by police in a pile of debris, packed in ice and given to hospital staff.
Due to his injuries the man was bailed to return to Bromley police station on September 26.
A 51-year-old man was bailed to return on October 19 and a 28-year-old man has been bailed to return on October 18.
And a 47-year-old woman was also bailed to return on October 17.
A 41-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman were issued with formal cautions at Bromley police station on September 20.
