IT WAS a case of hi ho, hi ho, it’s really hot you know, when the cast gathered to launch the Churchill Theatre’s Christmas pantomime.
The stars of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Patsy Kensit, Barney Harwood, Sarah Lark, David Spinx and Ben Harlow, were all excited as they met up at the Bromley venue.
They also got the opportunity to meet friends of the theatre and members of staff during the unseasonably sunny day.
Sarah Lark, who will be playing Snow White, said: “Even though it’s really hot today, I am still filled with lots of Christmas excitement.
“It’s been a lovely day, and I can’t wait to work with Patsy, David, Barney, Ben and all the rest of the cast.
“It’s going to be a great pantomime and I can’t wait to get on that stage”.
And the theatre’s staff members were equally thrilled.
General manager Chris Glover said: “We are all extremely proud of our pantomimes every year, and we get such great feedback from audiences and critics alike.
“People come to see a show filled with fabulous costumes, glittering sets, great cast members and special effects – and we certainly have that in abundance this year.
“We can’t wait to have the cast back for rehearsals in November. Here’s to a sparkling Christmas season.”
