POLICE want to speak to a 22-year-old man over an incident in last month's riots which saw officers pelted with bricks.
Greenwich police want to speak with Jo Ago over the attack in Beresford Square, Woolwich, on August 8.
Shocking CCTV footage has already been released showing bricks being hurled at the windows of an unmarked police car which had five officers in, injuring the driver.
Police also want to trace Ago in connection with burglary and criminal damage.
Borough Commander Richard Wood said: “The officers who attended Beresford Square were faced with unprecedented violence. We want to talk to Jo Ago to ascertain whether he is the man seen in the footage."
Police believe Ago might have resided in Erith in the past year.
Anyone with information should call Detective Sergeant Paul Pringle on 0208 284 5448 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
