SPORTSWEAR store JD Sports has revealed that its Woolwich branch is the last shop to reopen after August’s civil unrest.
The store in Powis Street suffered from fire damage in last month’s riots and is closed while repairs are being carried out.
Although a date for its reopening has not been announced, work is expected to last around another five weeks.
Fifteen other JD branches which were hit by the disorder reopened on August 21.
Stock worth £70,000 in total was looted across the company.
