A HEALTH centre in Bromley is calling for runners to take part in a 10k run this Saturday to raise money for a disabled children’s charity.
Nuffield Health Fitness and Wellbeing Centre in Hayes Lane is holding the event at 10am in Norman Park, Bromley.
Proceeds will go to Caudwell Children, a charity which provides equipment and support to disabled children.
As well as a 10k run, there will be a junior 1k run for runners aged 11 to 15.
Nuffield’s general manager Jim Elston said: “We’re really excited about our first organised run and hope to make this an annual event.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity to get together, have fun, get fit and raise money for a great cause.”
Prizes are on offer with medals for everyone who takes part.
Runners can also use Nuffield’s club showers and spa facilities free of charge.
Entry is £8 for Nuffield members, £10 for non-members and £4 for junior members.
