16.01: Thomas Tallis school in Kidbrooke says 75 of its 100 university applicants got the grades they needed this year for their first choice.
Among them was Maya Thomas Davis, whose three A*s will allow her to study English at Oxford.
Three-quarters of all grades at Thomas Tallis were A* to C, with 37 per cent achieving A* or As.
Executive head teacher Byron Parker said: “This remarkable set of results is a testimony to the hard work of our students working in tandem with colleagues and the support of their parents. We wish them all a bright and fulfilling future; they have earned it."
14.05: Eighty five per cent of pupils at Eltham College in Grove Park Road have celebrated achieving a grade A or B and half of them achieved three or more A grades.
The results mean that over 80 per cent of students secured a university place of their choice, including all of the Oxbridge candidates.
Headmaster Paul Henderson said: “We are very pleased with their efforts and congratulate them all on their successes.”
10.51: Blackheath High School are celebrating after 100 per cent of year 13 students passed their A Level exams with 70% attaining grades A*, A or B and 44% attaining grade A*/A.
Eight girls achieved all A levels at grade A/A*.
Yuan Chen a member of, and speaker for the Olympic Legacy Youth Panel, gained A* and A grades in Maths, Economics with Business Studies and French; with an additional A grade at AS level in Further Maths. She will be continuing her studies reading Economics at Warwick University.

With tuition fees set to rise next year, many students hoping to go to university will be desperate to have secured the necessary grades.
