ANXIOUS students across Bexley are heading to schools this morning to collect their A Level results.
11.32: Blackfen School for Girls, Blackfen Road, Sidcup
97% achieved A* - E pass rate at A2 level
63% achieved A*-C pass rate
Head Teacher, Matthew Brown is proud of the 145 students who took exams.
He said: “Achievement at this level is something to be proud of and shows the hard work and commitment of the young women and men who study with us and also of staff and parents and carers.
“While many students have gained places at university due to their fantastic grades, increased competition for places this year means that many are also awaiting news from their preferred choice.
“We wish them every success.”

9.00: Townley Grammar School for Girls scored 62.96 per cent in A* to B grades.
A total of 99.39 per cent scored A* to E grades.
Headteacher Desmond Deehan said: "We are pleased with them. They have worked really hard.
"They have got the results they deseve."
Head girl Andrea Pereira, 18, achieved the best results in the school with three A* grades and one A.
She will be going to the University of Nottingham to study medicine.
Miss Pereira said: "I felt so relieved. We all felt the exams were really tough. it was a nice surprise to get what we wanted and needed."
Mr Deehan said: "She has been a brilliant head girl. She is very humble and very supportive of other students and thoroughly deserved the grades."
Other girls who did well in their A-levels included Saraniya Ratalingam, 18, who achieved two A* grades and two A grades. She will study medicine at Kings College London.
Brooke Porter, 18, gained two A* and two A grades and will attend Imperial College London to study mathematics.
Emma Wise, 18, will study art and psychology at Reading University after achieving two A* and two A grades.
