Shelter - the homelessness charity - teamed up with Big Brother to highlight the 135,000 households which face the threat of real-life eviction.
Big Brother's Big Mouth presenter Russell Brand wore a customised waistcoat on the show in July embroidered with the number 135,000 on the back to show how many households are at risk.
Russell was supporting the latest drive in Shelter's Million Children Campaign, which aims to get the Government to end bad housing.
A campaign with the strapline Not All Evictees Meet Davina aims to show living in the shadow of eviction means insecurity and misery for thousands of families and children.
Director of Shelter Adam Sampson, said: "By supporting our campaign on Big Brother's Big Mouth, Russell has helped to highlight the prospect of eviction as a real-life nightmare for thousands of families and children.
"The threat of losing your home is just one part of the grim reality of bad housing which robs children of their of their health, education and future chances."
