CONTINENCE DROP-IN: Greenwich Teaching PCT is raising the awareness of continence issues through an informal drop in event on September 11 from 10am to 2pm at Woolwich Town Hall, Wellington Street, to coincide with National Continence Awareness Week (September 11 to 17).
The event will provide advice and support for people with continence problems and their carers and enable them to meet local professionals. As well as information on services, products, developments in managing continence problems and specific information about preventing urine infections, there will also be an opportunity for interested people to join a continence service user group.
For more information and to confirm your attendance, call Jane Wells on 020 8836 4638.
HEAR HERE: A mobile hearing test centre will be stopping off in Bromley High Street today, outside Donald & Aitchison.
The unit will be staffed by one of Hidden Hearing's - an Essex-based hearing-aid manufacturer - a registered hearing aid audiologist's who will be on hand to offer a hearing assessment and answer any queries visitors may have about hearing.
For more information, call 0800 731 6499.
