Three men attempted to steal a car in Dartford.
The incident happened on Monday at 5.20am in Henderson Drive, Dartford.
A 27-year-old man was driving his red Ford Escort to work when he heard his car boot rattling.
He stopped the car and got out to shut his boot and as he did so three men attacked him.
The men punched the victim in the face and tried to get into the car.
The victim struggled free, got back into the car and drove away and called the police.
He was treated in hospital after suffering injuries to his face.
The attackers were white. One was aged between 16 and 18, wearing a black jumper and dark trousers. The second man was aged between 25 and 30, 5ft 6in tall, wearing a black jumper and dark trousers and he had blonde hair.
