POLICE are hunting a gang of five black men thought to be behind a shooting which left a man seriously wounded.
Detectives are appealing for information after a 20-year-old man was shot in the chest.
The shot was fired during an argument between the man and the gang members, who are aged between 17 and 25.
It happened on Bardsley Lane, Greenwich, between two blocks of council housing -Lamb House and Bell House.
The victim was taken to a south London hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries and remains in a critical but stable condition.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident at 12.50am on August 26 to come forward.
