STUNNING seahorses and scaly fish inspired creative youngsters during a visit to a new aquarium.
The 30 children, aged between three and eight, set to work with card, glitter and glue and to make fishy garlands after touring the Horniman Museum's newest permanent feature.
The aquarium in London Road, Forest Hill, boasts more than 100 basking species, including jelly fish, seahorses and monkey frogs.
The £1.5m exhibit opened to the public on July 14 and so far more than 50,000 people have viewed the seven displays, one of which contains 14,000 litres of water.
A museum spokesman said: "The workshops proved very popular and the children loved having the chance to make something based on their favourite fish from the new aquarium."
