INSTEAD of an indoor meeting on August 22, members enjoyed the sunshine in the chairman's garden for a strawberry and cream tea.
The proceeds from this, together with a bring and buy stall and a raffle, were added to the guild's funds to help towards expenses.
The next guild meeting will be held in the meeting room of the Small Civic Hall on September 26.
There will be a demonstration of flower arranging by Barbara Page and a harvest table.
