DOUBLE FUN: Bexley is celebrating the 40th birthday of its twinning with the French town of Evry with an event at Danson House, Welling. During the visit by French dignitaries, over the weekend of September 15 to September 18, the mayors of Bexley and Evry will sign a document reaffirming their original twinning agreement of 1966.

PLANS IN: A doctor has applied for planning consent to turn his ground-floor surgery in Crayford Road, Crayford, into residential accommodation and offices.
