A HOSPICE is asking people to don their trunks or bikinis and swim for half-an-hour to raise funds for the charity.
The Ellenor Hospice will hold its XXth swimathon at Next Generation Club, Darenth Road, Dartford, for a day during Children's Hospice Week 2006.
Entries will be accepted from beginners, serious swimmers, individuals and teams. Lanes will be set aside for swimmers of differing abilities and lifeguards will be present.
The hospice, based in East Hill, Dartford, is asking swimmers to collect sponsors for the September 16 event.
Children's Hospice Week runs from September 16 until September 23.
